Who's Mouammar?

When I came to this country from Lebanon in the 80s, my English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher told me it would just be "easier" if I went by "Omar."  It's been that way ever since, but I really prefer to be called Mouammar. I finally decided that it's time to claim my real name. You can still call me "Omar," but my wife says I "light up" when people call me Mouammar.
